Why isn't the pixelation perfect?

The pixelation algorithm averages colors in blocks, which works well for most use cases but may not be perfect for all scenarios. The quality depends on the pixel size you choose and the content of your image.

For highly sensitive information, consider using larger pixel sizes (25-40) or alternative methods like solid color blocks.

Can I pixelate multiple areas?

Yes! After pixelating one area, simply draw another rectangle to pixelate a different area. Each pixelation is applied to the current state of the image, so you can pixelate as many areas as needed.

📏

What's the recommended pixel size?

  • Hiding faces or text: 15-30 pixels
  • Subtle effects: 5-15 pixels
  • Heavy pixelation: 30-50 pixels
  • License plates: 15-25 pixels

When in doubt, start with a larger size. You can always reset and try again.

Can I undo a pixelation?

Yes, click the "Reset" button to restore your original image. Note that this will remove all pixelations you've applied. There's no way to undo individual pixelations, so plan your edits accordingly.

💾

How do I save my edited image?
